Daulatabad Senior Secondary School Project
TRF firmly believes that the first step towards strengthening the government school system in India is to provide students adequate basic infrastructure for coming to and learning in school.
In the Daulatabad Senior Secondary School, located in Gurgaon district, TRF assessed the most critical gaps in basic infrastructure, and then provided:
Toilets for students and teachers
Clean drinking water facilities
Blackboards in classrooms
Equipment and furniture for the Science laboratories
Refurbished computers for students.
Dhankot Senior Secondary School
At the Government Senior Secondary School, Dhankot, located in Gurgaon district, TRF provided:
Toilets for students and teachers (especially
girls,who
had no privacy whatsoever)
Clean drinking water facilities
Equipment and furniture for Science
laboratories, and
Inverter and batteries for the school.
Garhi-harsaru Senior Secondary School
At the Government Senior Secondary School, Garhi-Harsaru, located in Gurgaon district. TRF provided:
Laboratory equipment and furniture for Physics
& Chemistry laboratories.
Inverter with batteries.
Drinking water block & a submersible pump.
Sarhoul Senior Secondary School
At the Government Senior Secondary School, Sarhoul, located in Gurgaon, TRF provided:
Toilet blocks for students & teachers
Vocational training program in cutting &
tailoring,beautician and electrician courses
Sound system to facilitate the students to
conduct assembly and cultural programs in
school.
